As of January 1, 2021, the Lex Uber law came into effect, fully legalizing Uber and Bolt applications as transportation providers. This means that drivers must meet exactly the same requirements as all taxi drivers.
What are these requirements?
- Taxi drivers must be at least 18 years old.
- Taxi drivers must have a valid driver’s license and experience in vehicle operation.
Do you meet these conditions? Great! We need a few documents from you, and you can start.
Provide us with:
- Medical examinations and psychological tests for a taxi driver.
- Certificate of no criminal record from the National Criminal Register (not older than a month).
- Portrait photo 35 x 45 mm.
Medical examinations and psychological tests – you can do them in one place within one day. Search on Google for “medical examinations and psychological tests for taxi + your city.” Call and schedule a convenient appointment for you. The cost of such examinations is 350 PLN.
Certificate of no criminal record – the cost is 21-30 PLN, and there are two ways to obtain it:
- Online: HERE. A trusted profile is required for this. The usual processing time is 5-7 business days.
- In person: go to the Court in your city and inquire at the information desk about the application for a certificate of no criminal record. Processing time: about 1 hour.
You can work with your own car, which has a taxi license, or rent a car from us.
