WHAT IS A ZONE IN THE APP?
It’s the area where the app operates, and you’ll be making your deliveries. You can find it in your app, highlighted in a different color.
HOW DOES THE CLIENT PAY FOR THE ORDER; WILL I RECEIVE A CARD TERMINAL?
It depends on the app you’re working for.
With Glovo, the client pays the courier in cash or through the app. There’s no card payment upon delivery. However, Glovo couriers have a payment card to pay for orders in non-partner locations, if needed.
For Uber Eats, Bolt Food, Wolt, and Jush, the client pays through the app.
Stuart couriers are given a card terminal as part of their starting equipment, which they must pay for.
DO I NEED MY OWN TRANSPORT?
Yes, bicycles, scooters, or cars are acceptable. Apps don’t offer vehicles, but Avalon Logistics has a fleet available for rent. We especially recommend scooter rentals to couriers, as they are economical and increase earnings.
